Charter a private jet to see the boys of summer in the spring in Arizona or Florida!

Cactus League

Charter a private jet to Arizona as 15 Cactus League teams prepare for the season in stadiums scattered around the state. The weather is poolside warm and the atmosphere is festive as fans gather to cheer on their favorite players.

Scottsdale, Arizona

Since Solairus is located in Northern California, we are going to be biased and give a number one plug to the San Francisco Giant’s training camp in Scottsdale, AZ. Scottsdale Stadium is in downtown Scottsdale, a town peppered with dining and party establishments galore. With the Oakland A’s training camp at Hohokam Park Stadium, and Salt River Fields for the Arizona Diamond Backs and Colorado Rockies in close proximity, you can’t go wrong in Scottsdale. Don’t miss the Pink Pony, a baseball tradition as a watering hole for players and fans. A visit here might be your best bet to spot a player after a game.

Both the Four Seasons and the Fairmont offer excellent lodging and hospitality. Don’t forget to enjoy a round of golf at the Four Seasons, a one of a kind experience set in the saguaro cactus-filled mountain desert landscape.

Surprise and Glendale, Arizona

Northwest of Scottsdale is another hub of spring training activity. Surprise Stadium hosts the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers, while Camelback Ranch in Glendale hosts the LA Dodgers and Chicago White Sox. The nearby Peoria Sports Complex hosts the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners. Although there are plenty of hotels in and around Surprise, Scottsdale is still your best bet for higher-end lodging, and is only a 30-minute drive. Glendale is a picturesque and historic town and features some fun eateries including Haus Murphy’s German Restaurant and Beer Garden, serving up a variety of German beers and sausages and is a popular postgame venue of the baseball community. Charter a private jet here for a special spring training experience.

Grapefruit League

Charter a private jet to Grapefruit League training in Florida and enjoy a sun-splashed vacation getaway. Florida was the original site of spring training before many teams left to form the Cactus League. Here you will find deep ties to the game with many ballparks steeped in history. Fifteen teams play in the sunshine state, so pick the team(s) you want to see play and explore Florida!

Jupiter, Florida

Built in 1998, Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Florida is the only shared ballpark in the Grapefruit League. It features field boxes, loge boxes, bleachers, a grass berm, and luxury skybox seating. If you’re taking in a game, you won’t want to miss the game day experience in downtown Abacoa. Nearby restaurants and sports bars are filled with fans throughout Grapefruit League season, all within walking distance of the stadium. Fans can check out the nearby Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum, which is located in a restored World War II housing quarters building. The southern-most Spring Training site on the east coast, Juno Beach and West Palm Beach are also easy drives from Jupiter, as is MacArthur Beach State Park. The state park is open seven days a week and offers visitors the opportunity to kayak, fish, bird-watch and snorkel.

Tampa, Florida

On the Gulf side of the state, visit Steinbrenner Field for the New York Yankees and Bright House Field for the Philadelphia Phillies. Both parks are steeped in baseball tradition although Bright House Field is one of the newer parks, and arguably the best in Florida. It has an enjoyable atmosphere and the fans continue their experience after the game listening to live music at the Frenchy’s Tiki Pavilion in left field. Seats are available beyond the left-field wall, which is a great way to watch the game. While you are here, visit Clearwater Beach, on the Gulf of Mexico, one of the best beaches in Florida. There are plenty of fine restaurants along the beach, so there should never be a shortage of tasty to food and delicious drinks.

The George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa has the same dimensions as Yankee Stadium down to the inch and is the largest field in the Grapefruit League. Outside the field entrance is a hero’s gallery featuring all of the club’s retired numbers and plaques about each player’s career. Other entertainment venues within close distance of Steinbrenner Field include Raymond James Stadium, home of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the highly rated Lowry Park Zoo and Busch Gardens amusement park.
