Charter a Private Jet to these Wine Country Holiday Destinations!

Tasting great wine is a transporting experience, but there is no better way to immerse yourself in viticulture than to visit the wines at their source.  These locations are our favorites and are all easily accessible by private jet travel.   When we travel to wine growing regions and to the wineries themselves, we get a full picture including regional culture and history-all things that contribute to winemaking and to our favorite bottles of wine.  In vino veritas, as they say, so pick your fellow traveling companions and prepare for a festive and fun-filled holiday.

Paso Robles, CA

Visit California’s fastest growing wine destination, located halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Easy to get to by chartered private jet, you will touch down just minutes from Paso’s downtown hotels and restaurants. The wine here is good. Really good, and scores are climbing with each passing year. The Rhone varietal reigns supreme here as the terroir is similar to that in Bordeux. Many French winemakers are here making a name for themselves, most notably Stephan Asseo and his L’Aventure Winery-don’ t miss it! We suggest staying at Hotel Cheval right in the heart of downtown, so you can walk to one of the many acclaimed restaurants in this up and coming town.

Healdsburg, CA

For a wine country holiday with all the amenities of a high-end visit but with a more rustic flavor, charter a private jet to Healdsburg in Sonoma County, CA. Appellations in this lush and hilly landscape include Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley and Russian River Valley. The mountain vistas are beautiful this time of year and the wineries are warm and welcoming. Downtown Healdsburg with its town square edged with boutiques and restaurants couldn’t be more festive. Don’t miss the Holidays in Healdsburg Fine Wine & Foodie Walking Tours.

Willamette Valley, Oregon

If it’s Pinot Noir you seek, charter your own private jet and look no further than the Willamette Valley located between Oregon’s Cascade and Coast mountain ranges. The valley created by this topography promotes the cool temperatures needed for growing world class Pinot Noir. We suggest lodging at the Allison Inn & Spa in Newburg. At the Allison, you will not only enjoy the surrounding wine country but also their art collection, spa and award winning restaurant.

Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California, Mexico

Wineries in Mexico? Yes, absolutely. Not only wine, but really excellent food, too. You will find this up and coming wine country in northern Baja along route 3 in the Guadalupe Valley. The quality of wine has risen over the last two decades and today wineries have teamed up with chefs and hoteliers to create Baja’s very own Ruta del Vino (wine route.) Located less than two hours from San Diego, and with Ensenada as its city center, the Valle de Guadalupe has moved beyond its tequila and beer roots to one based on wine and food. And you can’t beat the weather-even in the winter.  A perfect destination for private jet travel.

Languedoc Region, France

A part of Languedoc-Roussillon, the world’s largest wine-producing region, Languedoc lies in the south of France bordered by the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Mountains. This region boasts a diversity of wines: reds, whites, sparkling, sweet and dry. Its AOPs-particularly Minervois, Courbieres and Coteaux de Languedoc-are becoming quite well known. InSaint-Chinian, the Maison des Vin’s dispensing machines allow visitors to try 32 wines from across the appellation and the shop stocks more than 300 wines. There are many small, family owned wineries to visit as well, all nestled in the hills of this region of unmatched beauty. The winter is a wonderful time to visit as you will miss the summer crowds and heat. Bon vacances!
