When you can’t bear to leave your animal companion at home during the next trip on your private jet, take it with you and book a luxury hotel that accommodates pets. The following are some of the best:

Ritz-Carlton Hotels

It doesn’t get better for a pet than at the Ritz-Carlton locations that accommodate four-legged friends. The hotel chain offers a range of pet-friendly services, from offering certified pet massage therapists to loaning Burberry raincoats on blustery days. When you charter a private jet and stay at a Ritz-Carlton, you can also expect pet spa treatments, pet room service, toys, treats, plush pet beds and luxury pet bowls. Pet programs, weight limits and fees vary by location. (http://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/Default.htm)

Hilton Hotels

The Hilton group offers 378 pet-friendly properties. The hotel treats pets that check-in with amenities Crypton Clean Pet Pillows, special placemats, pet bowls and a travel tote fill with organic treats, deodorizing disinfectant and biodegradable waste bags. At the time of publication, Hilton’s pet policies include advanced reservations, a $75 non-refundable fee per stay, 75-pound weight limit and a limit of two pets per room. When you book a stay, ask if there are any special pet promotions so you can give your pooch some extra pampering. (http://www3.hilton.com/en/index.html)

Mandarin Oriental Hotels

The luxury Mandarin Oriental chain of hotels bring you the MO Pet program at its accommodations in Boston, Las Vegas, San Francisco, NYC, Washington DC and Miami. In addition to amenities like pet bowls and a pet bed, MO Pet’s lavish offerings also include turndown service, play dates, specialty menus, gourmet treats, training services and toy. When you check-in, your pooch will also receive a keepsake golden MO charm for its collar. If needed, you can purchase doggie t-shirts and bathrobes with the hotel’s logo encrusted in blue or pink Swarovski crystals. Pet fees and weight limit vary by property.  (http://www.mandarinoriental.com/)

Loews Hotels

The “Loews Loves Pets” program at the Loews Hotels offer your pooch a welcome package complete with a dog tag, pet bowls and treats. Many of the hotel properties also offer pet sitting and dog walking services and spa treatments for your pup. The hotel’s partnership with Banfield means that your pet also receives a complimentary examination and service discount during your stay. At the time of publication, the Loews Hotel chain charges a $25 pet fee per stay, and many properties can direct you to local pet services if you need to rent a pet bed, pet videos or a leash.  (http://www.loewshotels.com/en/specials/pet)

Kimpton Hotels

The Kimpton Group offers its guests the “HosPETality” program that welcomes animal companions of any size, weight or breed. Plus, you don’t have to pay any extra fees or deposits to participate. The elegant hotel offers pet amenities like a pet bed, food and water dishes, pet treats in the lobby, gourmet room service and “doga” sessions—yoga for humans and dogs. If you leave your pet at home and feel lonely, the Guppy Love program delivers a goldfish to your room to keep you company during your stay. (http://www.kimptonhotels.com/services/pet-friendly.aspx)

Keep in mind that if you travel to another country or Hawaii, you may not be allowed to bring in certain types of pets and your pet may be subject to quarantine.
