Chad Davidson Business Aviation Leadership Scholarship Fund Established
San Francisco, CA and New York, NY (January 17, 2023) –– Solairus Aviation is proud to announce the establishment of the Chad Davidson Business Aviation Leadership Scholarship Fund, an initiative dedicated to honoring the memory of the late Chad Davidson, a passionate aviator and outstanding businessman in the aviation community.
Chad Davidson, affectionately known as “Super Chad” by his teammates, began his remarkable journey in aviation while still in high school, later joining the Solairus Charter Sales team in 2014 when he was only 19 years old. His unparalleled drive, talent, and passion for aviation quickly earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues, clients, and industry peers. Through a series of well-deserved promotions, Chad became an integral part of Solairus and left an indelible mark on everyone he met.
Tragically, Chad passed away at the young age of 29, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and dedication. Despite his professional success, Chad was more than a businessman; he was a vibrant and devoted member of his church community, a passionate volunteer, and a mentor. His commitment to making a positive impact extended beyond his professional life, as he actively participated in charitable flights for PALS Airlift Services, helping families experiencing medical hardship.
“Chad was a life force in the Solairus organization, not just because of his relationships and day-to-day influence on our business but because he represented what was possible for the future of our company and business aviation overall,” Solairus CEO Dan Drohan said. “At only 29 years old, he was already a symbol of promise for the next generation of leadership at Solairus and in our industry. He was, more importantly, a great human being.”

Chad will be sorely missed, but we can honor him for a long time as a shining example of what great looks like,” Drohan added.
The Chad Davidson Business Aviation Leadership Scholarship Fund aims to continue Chad’s legacy by supporting students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Business Administration at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. The fund will provide scholarships to individuals who exhibit the same level of passion, dedication, and leadership qualities that defined Davidson’s life and career.
